Mathematical Modeling
Maple is the ultimate productivity tool for solving mathematical problems and creating interactive technical applications. Intuitive and easy to use, it delivers the most advanced, complete, reliable mathematical capabilities that can only come from a market-leading tool that has been developed and tested over 25 years. Maple allows you to create rich, executable technical documents that provide both the answer and the thinking behind the analysis. Maple documents seamlessly combine numeric and symbolic calculations, explorations, mathematical notation, documentation, buttons and sliders, graphics, and animations that can be shared and reused by your colleagues.

With MapleNet 11, publication of applications created with Maple 10 over the Internet has never been easier: you simply create your technical document in Maple, incorporating Embedded GUI Components to allow easy interaction with the math in the document, and then save it to your MapleNet server.
Maple T.A. is an easy-to-use web-based system for creating tests and assignments, automatically assessing student responses and performance. It supports complex, free-form entry of mathematical equations and intelligent evaluation of responses, making it ideal for mathematics, science, or any course that requires mathematics.
The Maple Professional Toolbox Series is a Maplesoft developed set of products that target key applications in engineering, science, and technical application development.
BlockBuilder from Maplesoft introduces a "First Principles" physical modeling environment for Simulink. Engineers can mathematically develop models of dynamic systems, particularly for plant control applications and then implement them in Simulink as a subsystem block. Featuring the full power of Maple, BlockBuilder helps engineers to develop ideas from initial concepts to high fidelty physical models, and automatically generate Simulink S-Function blocks to enhance and extend their Simulink models.
"Preparing system models by hand for use in Simulink can be laborious and error prone, often taking up to 80% of the project time. With BlockBuilder for Simulink, projects that would have taken days to complete are turned around in a metter of hours." Dr Richard Gran. Formerly with Grunman Corp. as Director of Advanced Concepts, Head of the Dynamics and Control Theory Laboratory, and Member of the Digital Flight COntrol System design team for the Apollo Lunar Module.
MapleT add-on that allows you to import a Simulink model into Maple and convert it to a set of mathematical equations. Once the model is represented as a set of equations, it can be analyzed, optimized and simplified, then converted back to Simulink using BlockBuilder. This enables the user to validate the mathematical integrity of the model, perform further analysis, document the system, eliminate algebraic loops and increase Simulink execution speed.
