Order Management in Multilevel Marketing
Introduction
Our client is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of 100% melamine tableware. With nearly 40 years of successful operations, the client is a public listed company in Thailand having customers across world relying on their quality products .They started their operation from Thailand and at present, they export plastic and melamine products to over 50 countries worldwide such as USA, England, Germany, India and Countries in Middle East.
The Challenge
Recently, they started their operations in India using multi level marketing format. Their immediate need was to have a software system, which would allow –
- SSI Management to define and view information related to products, offers, units, dealers and Sales force.
- Business Directors to input the orders placed by their Dealers (in all parts of India) and generate Invoice from the System.
The client invited Binary Semantics to design and develop their Order Management System.
Software design was expected to be flexible and scalable, in order to support future changes in business processes. Since the majority of users were expected to have very basic knowledge of computers the system had to be simple and easy to use, and at the same time offer high level of security.
